DUTCH speaking talent

Even though we are an international region, sometimes the position can only be filled by someone who is native Dutch. In that case, people also speak Dutch in Flanders (Belgium border region). You have multiple regional and cross-border options to publish your vacancies.

GERMAN speaking talent

Because we are so close to the German border, daily, approximately 8.000 talents cross this border just to go to work in the Netherlands or in Germany. Over 4000 German inhabitants work for Dutch employers in our region. In that case, if your position can only be filled by someone who is native German, you have some cross-border options to publish your vacancies.

INTERNATIONAL talent

Many employers within our network hire international talent. With a good command of English, mostly higher educated, internationals can start their career in the Maastricht Region. This is why the Maastricht Region partnered up with the Talent Coalition! We want our network of employers to profit from this partnership which lead to our own Jobportal Welcome to Maastricht Region! 

Together with our network of employers we continue to build up the number of career opportunities here. This jobportal, in cooperation with our Talent Coalition partners, the Netherlands Point of Entry (NPE) and The Dutch Enterprise Agency reaches higher educated talents from all over the globe. Posting your vacancies here (only in english) is a great opportunity for your to reach international talent!

EURopean Employment Service (EURES)

Our partner EURES supports employers in hiring talent from other countries of the European Economic Area (EEA). EURES can provide employers with the opportunity to find motivated and skilled workers, especially in the case of national work force shortages in specific economic sectors.

Finding talent from another European country can be a difficult task if you have not done it before. How do you get started? What should you consider? Who can offer you help and support?
